Rainy saturday mornings in Philadelphia, my brothers and I would be fascinated by Japanese science fiction movies. I designed these overscale creatures for the series HYSTERCAL ARCHITECTURES. Nudibranchs are (in real life) are delicately beautiful fluid creatures, sometimes extremely poisonous and always telltales of the relative health of the marine environment. As installations they bring a sense of humor, color and movement to the static man-made world. | ||||||||||||||||
